Scanning

Post by stockman »

I have been trying to get quality pictures with my scanner. Today I changed my DPI to 300 all that happened was my picture got bigger. Some of the pictures on the forum are excellent, are any of them made with a scanner or are they photos. Some of the guys have sent me tips but I still have not been able to get good scans. I think my equipement is good a Epson Stylus Photo RX620 scanner and eMac OXS computer. The problem is in my ability to work the equipement. HELP!

Here's a scan at image resolution of 150 DPI, and scanning resolution of 301 DPI. I am only reading what I see, but don't necessarily understand it!
The scale is set at 201% and the final size is 6.3MB.
If you click on it (twice?) you should get a bigger, clearer image.
The scanner is an AGFA e50 SNAPSCAN, and I am using XP.
Maybe you will find a clue here??
