my intro

Post by new2knives »

Hi Everyone, my name is Jennifer but I go by J. I am new to knives (hence the new2knives.) I am very interested in knives from my area of good old Warren Pa. Tidioute, Olean etc.. I would like to find a vintage Tidioute knive or more if someone has any. Pa Knives referred me so I know you guys are legit. I was bidding on Ebay yesterday for that "fine TC CO" knive and was outbid. I was upset but after reading posts I'm glad I didn't win it. That's wrong to mislead people. Anyway, I have 2 children and am happily married. I hope to find what I'm looking for soon. Thanks for allowing me to join. J ::nod::

HI!

I would like to welcome J as well. Good people come from my hometown. I have a CASE Warren Pa that is my favorite antique knife. It only took 30 years to find it. Hope J doesn't have to wait as long for her quest. I will be looking for her as well.

Please treat her right.

Welcome, hope you have several dozen knives by this time next year.
They are one fine legal addiction.

new2knives Well you are in good hands here...

First thing that went to my mind was you must have some Indian back ground with a name like that...new2knives... 8)

We all were new to collecting too at one time.
I only have a year and a half in it my self.
Just keep coming back to AAPK lots to learn.
The others here will help you a lot so you do NOT make as many bobos as some of us have.
I will try to make you smile some times do to the fact I am new to this to.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the kind words and welcoming me to the board. I'm sure I'll enjoy it and hope to find my vintage Tidioute!!! I'm already looking at a few knives that look really neat so I guess I'm hooked.
J :)
