Handle material

What is the difference between corolon, acrylic and celluloid handle material. Aren't they all basically plastic? Is one better than the other?

Jim, I'm glad you posted this question. I've been wondering the same thing. Corolon and celluloid look very similiar to me, but I don't own any knives made with these handles.

I'd like to know what makes Delrin different from other composite materials as well.

I don't think corelon gasses and isn't as flamable as celluloid.
