Does anyone have any information on Bayes U.S.A. tang stamp?

Goins says:
“BAYES USA g 1970 – 1988 A Purina advertising knife.”
Goins uses g to represent guesstimation.

That's all I got up, that's all Goins has on the! :lol:

Did a little research (should have started there) and discovered that Bayes knives were made by Colonial. 1970-1980
