I have a pocket knife stamped: PONSON. And under that: THIERS, in italics. A few PONSON knifes on the web, but non much like this. It is a multitool, with camo sides. Two blades, awl, can opener, screwdriver, and cork screw. Is it an interesting knife, or a forgery?
If anyone is interested I can try to post a picture. Not having any luck right now.

Thiers is a city in central France that is the center of the French cutlery industry. Ponson is an old company (dating from the 19th Century I think) that is still in business. You can easily Google the company's website, which is in French. You might try using Google Translate to read the content.
Since it has camo handles it is likely of recent manufacture, maybe new or perhaps a few decades old. They make quality knives but their prices are not so expensive as to justify a forgery.
