I have two knives that were my dads. I recently found these when he passed away.
Both of them are CASE XX 3254.
The first one is in a Green Box that says Vietnam Commemorative, Tribute to the Vietnam Vet with the Case logo limited edion. Inside the box has a gold plate with the same script embossed in black. The blades are black with the script "To those who gave, 1961 - 1973 on one blade and the other says Vietnam Commemorative. The serial number on this knife is 170.
The other knife that i have is a John Wayne "The Duke" The box is black with lettering and the duke's picture in gold / yellow. The knife looks to have gold blades and has the duke with his signature on the blade and a gun. On the other blade is John Wayne 1907 - 1979 with his picture engraved. The serial number on this knife is 4980.
Has anyone ever seen the knives? I have searched the internet for days and can not find any that are like these. I find many knives that are 5254 John Wayne but none with 3254. Why are they so hard to find?!
Someone please help!
Chris
