One that Got Away....... Holley

Here's one that got away because I was greedy. I had been trying to buy this knife for two years and finally got it. It's an old single blade Holley with smooth bone handles in really great condition. What was unique was that it had double backsprings. Talk about hard snap!!! I sold it on eBay probably a year ago and made a very small profit, but immediately regretted selling it. Loved it enough to keep the picture though. Any of you guys familiar with a single blade Holley with 2 backsprings?

I have an old case with a doubled backspring (if I can remember where I put it??) Do you have a picture of the springs, jands40??

Just my opinion but....

I think that that Holley is a fake based on the pics. Many years ago at knife shows I saw a lot of Holley blades floating around that looked like either modern produced fake blades or possibly original Holley blades that were unfinished from the factory. The blade in the posted knife looks like one of those blades. And the frame and handles and pins (including the double backspring) are all wrong for a knife from that era.
