Nice to meet ya'
Hey Everybody - I thought it was time to stop in and introduce myself. I'd just like to say this is probably one of the best forums on any subject that I have come across.
I have liked, used and carried knives my whole life but only recently developed an interest in collecting. My grandfather was a hunter and fisherman. He mainly collected fixed blades and was a fan of bowie knives. He always had a variety of pocket knives - mostly Case or Schrade. I still have most of the fixed blades he left me but unfortuneately the pocket knives have gotten lost over the years - I actually used and carried them.
I like traditional style pocket knives - not a big fan of tactical stuff. I also like old military knives. The brands I prefer are Case, Hen and Rooster, Boker, German Eye and Queen.
