Canal Street Price Increase

Former Schrade President Walley Gardner and principal Joe Hufnagel joined with nine master cutlers to form a group of US craftsmen with over 300 years of combined knife making experience. The company they created is located in upstate New York where a long and rich tradition of quality knife making dates back to the 19th century.

Canal Street Price Increase

Postby Chase » Fri Feb 17, 2017 6:04 pm

I know that Canal Street knives are selling for more money now that they are no longer being produced, however, this one is way over-priced.

Canal Street Cutlery Rams Horn Muskrat Hawbaker special N.I.B. RARE 2009 #44

On ebay, starting bid $400.

I would love to have one like that, but definitely not at that price...LOL

Well, it takes only one collector who wants it that badly, and they can keep re-listing it at successively lower starting bids until someone goes for it. It's worth whatever someone's willing to pay for it.

Tell him he's dreaming Tom. Nice knife but way out of the ball park.

They dropped the starting bid to $300.

More reasonable, however, still not sure they will get any bids....we'll see
