This poor knife was abused.....the blade has a 2 level grind.....but at least it's sharp now!
The tang/handle was bent and the leather bindings were rusting it out so I had to do something to make it usable!
I believe the tang stamp dates this to 1928-1931? Agree?

Nice save Scott. I like the cord handle. The tang stamp dates 1951 -1978. One of our Scout collectors can probably narrow that down from the knife model and when Western had the contract for the Official Scout Knife.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

From looking at my resources, it looks like a date range of 1955-1970.
