Broken Barlow IXL George Wostenholm Sheffield England

Post by fdh54turkeyshooter »

Hi Folks, Can anyone tell me where I can get the spring replaced in a single bladed IXL George Wostenholm barlow. I cannot find anything out on the company. They must be out of business. I need to get this thing shipped off to someone that knows more about knives than I do. The blade is intact. Part of the spring is broken out & missing. I cannot find my previous post to follow up. There was someone with a bad back that had offered to check it out for me if I couldn't find anyone else to fix it. It was to be a last resort. Seems I am to that point. Unless someone has some suggestions on where I might send it to get it repaired. Thanks for any help. Fred

I think it was in this thread.

JR or Ringmaster had about 4,000 backsprings.

Thanks Hukk,

I believe it was ringmaster. Does anyone have an address for him? I am going to try one more stop locally before I ship it to him. Thanks. Fred

I don't. Just click on the link to open a new page and find Ringmaster's post. Click on the pm to send a private message. Be sure to put a title where it asks for one, it won't send if you don't.
