Rehandle Emmons-Hawkins HDW. CO Knife

I have been inspired by my good friend Greg to have one of my knives rehandled. It is a jack knife stamped Emmons-Hawkins HDW. CO. My primary goal is to replace the celluloid handles with natural handles.

If any of our knife mechanics here on AAPK have the time or inclination to accept this project please pm me and we'll talk specifics. Time is not of the essence. Thanks in advance for any responses!

PS: Does anyone have insight into who might have made this knife, or knives for Emmons-Hawkins?

Jerry that is a beautiful old knife ! What do you about the hardware concern? Location?

Greg, I don't know much about the Hardware store other than what I can find on the Internet. First, I bought the knife because of the tang stamp and then got interested in the hardware store.

That's a very interesting history. Nestled in the hills of West Virginia. No telling where that knife came from.
