These were given out by SMKW to try and sell knives. The knife may of been the only innocent part of the deal being a final run, but the cert is probably not worth the paper it's written on. A very good knife though.

So it was something Smoky Mountain printed up to package with the bucket loads of inventory they acquired from Schrade's going out of business sale?

I believe that it was either exactly that or something very close to it. Another member of AAPK came up with a thick bundle of them at some point. I don't recall if the back side was blank or not; if so they would make nice grocery lists.gwelker62 wrote:So it was something Smoky Mountain printed up to package with the bucket loads of inventory they acquired from Schrade's going out of business sale?

Throw in a flint striker with a few of those COAs.. you'll have a fire starter kit.tongueriver wrote: I believe that it was either exactly that or something very close to it.
