Bought a Rough Rider doctor's knife

Post by skip »

Dad and I went to a show on saturday and was looking to buy some knives. Came across a guy that had some rough riders and I have to say these knives are nice. I have only seen them in picture and on the Chris Kirk knife show.
They are so nice I had to buy one.
The fit and finish is excellent. Sharp polished blades. This one is red jigged bone. Over all good quality. Anyone else own a rough rider and what do you think?
Before you guys wanna string me up, I did buy three American knives.

Thanks for the report Skip,

I've never had a rough rider in my hands, but I have heard they are pretty good knives. It is too bad they are made in China. That takes them off my radar screen :|

I own several. I have given MANY away as gifts. They are a very good value.
Yea, it's too bad they are made in China.
Yea, it's too bad we are in a world economy and not cloistered.
Just ballance what you own with items from Europe, Africa, Asia, USA and other countries, things will be fine.
