Yes, it is a very nice 2-SPRING whittler (not a true "split back" whittler). However, in order to keep the peace, I'm willing to call it a "split back" even though technically it's not that. (No need to go down that road again...I'm still picking the fly$#!+ out of my pepper from the last time we got into this discussion! )

Picked up a Catt Stainless Floater today with the original sheath for $6.Not perfect but in decent shape.Figured I'd post it along with some of my other Catts.

I'll follow QTCut5's lead and add: A whittler is a 2 spring 3 blade knife in which the master blade bears on both springs. So "split backspring whittler" is redundant as well as incorrect for this knife, which is a fine example of a Great knife.
