Well 'Special' to me, and others for sure, but not everybody.
I think the Schrade LB7 is one of the all time Great Knives and have a collection of about 50 ? of them. This unused '4 pin' is my lowest serial number: 4533. 1978 was the first year of production and the serial number went to ~ 19,000 so this knife is well within the first year of production. I looked for many years before i found this one. Comes in an LB7 sheath that i think is original to this knife. "Schrade" is stamped into the snap closure. Only see this with early ones.
Never used, 100% solid lock up. It's a Beauty; Schrade USA at it's best.
The second knife is also a 5" lockback, made by Camillus and branded "Harley-/Davison" on front tang and "HD-1/440S.S./U.S.A./198 H-D". The shield has "Live To Ride To Live".
The sheath is stamped with "Motor/Harley-Davison/Cycles" and is quite worn especially along one edge.
The knife looks unused but the edge looks to have been given an incomplete touch up sharpening. Not a problem, just needs a few light strokes and stropping.
I think the owner took this with him on many rides but rarely took it out of the belt sheath.
This Camillus pattern is quite common but not with the Harley-Davison branding and the few others i have seen have had a beat up blade from too many wild hog fests.
I would like $150 for both, shipped. Yes this is a rather high price but not out of line for what they are. You have to really want these to go for it. If you happen to be looking for both, then it is a good deal.

Harley is GONE; on a long ride South right now.
Early low number 4 pin is patiently waiting for one who really needs him.
