Custom leather sheath for large folding knife...

Hi members,

I´m searching for a custom made leather sheath for my vintage Puma Emperor with thick stag scales.

The knife is HUGE (5 1/2" closed with a 4 1/2" blade) and unfortunately Puma has no sheaths in stock anymore...

How about jbWoods? Does he have a website? Any other suggestions will be highly appreciated.

you can try to make yourself a sheath, many tutorial can be found on the web and it's not very hard to do (and it's funny)

Hmmmmmmmmmmm...I guess I´m not skilled enough to do that

BTW: I have no equipment to stitch thick leather

all you need is a small nail and some dental floss with two needles.

yep. when i started making knives, i was gonna make just one. one that was gonna be my last knife and i was gonna use it forever. 7 years later i am still making them.

Here is a pouch style sheath, deerskin lined, rattlesnake inlay, with a clip, he made for me. He does great work.

Sheathmaker (Paul Long) is the best custom sheath maker I know!

If the knife is one that you really value think it deserves a GREAT sheath (the Puma would qualify, IMHO), then Paul is the best there is! He makes the sheaths for a number of custom makers.
You will NOT be disappointed if you decide to have him make your sheath!
