Gerber Magnum Hunter/ 30% price drop

I bought this 11" fixed blade knife with the intention of using it. I wanted to see if the "High Speed Tool Steel" lives up to the hype it was advertised as. However i never did use it. There are a few handling/scuff marks on both the knife handle and sheath, as are shown in pictures.
In the intervening decades this has now become a highly desired collectible with the 'Gerbers' (i.e. those who collect Gerber knives).
There is one on ebay right now as a B.I.N. for $300 although it is a one earlier model, leather sheath is a little different. I have seen the exact knife i have sell for ~ $200 at auction on ebay.

I checked Joe, 3 have SOLD for $49.99, $83.00 and for $125.00.

I'd buy it if I could get $200 for it, but doesn't appear to be the case.

Scott, are they all the same knife as mine ? There were a few versions of this knife. I think mine is second oldest & this influences value.
Also "Gerber Magnum Hunter" is now used to refer to their more recent Folding Hunter. Are you certain that the 2 lower prices were not for the Folding Hunter ? Did you see the picture that went with the auction ?

Yes sir.

Searched ebay for that term exactly. Then on the left side, click on SOLD LISTINGS.....shows a bunch but only 3 like yours.

O.K. in this case "searching the exact term" gives you the folding knife as well as the fixed blade. Sounds like you discovered this and took the prices of the 3 that were fixed blades ? If so and they are the older version & never used, then at least 2 buyers got a very good deal.
Make me an offer if you want. I am not attached to this knife the way i am to more traditional styled knives.
