I made the hour drive into Austin today to meet Paladin and look at some of his fabulous knives. We decided to meet at a Barnes & Noble bookstore thinking it wouldn't be crowded because nobody buys books anymore. Maybe nobody was buying books, but it was crowded and every table and chair was occupied. After we found a suitable place to talk knives, I said "Ray, where are your knives?" and then he opened up his trench coat like a Russian spy to show them (just kidding
).
I brought home a beautiful Schrade and a wish list for a few more.
