In need of blade

ok I have this knife and after reading the Tutorial threads i've been inspired to put a blade in and re-handle this Case 044 pattern Pen knife. It's about 3 5/16" Long closed.

I am looking for anyone who might have the blade or a parts knife with the blade I need. After talking with Muskrat Man, I am going to keep the main blade and just replace the pen blade. The best I can tell this is a '40 - '64 knife. It has Case XX and that is it. No USA or anything else.

If you have something that will work & are willing to sell it, please PM me with how much you will take for it.

This will be my first ever knife repair. So I will take some pics and let everyone know how it's going as I go along.

Fatstrat , do you know the time frame of your knive. I don't know if it will work or not , i'll have to ask MM and see what he says

One blade (the real pointy one) has Case XX at the base.

yes it does. should be in the same time frame as mine. PM me and let me know what you want for it. I'm waiting on a PM back from Muskrat Man to tell me if that blade will work. I think I need the one on the end by itself.

That's the best blade on the knife. But I think it's probably a "spey" and not a pen. The better blade on the 2 blade end is IMO a pen. (i'm learning alot here!)
Curious thing about the knife. One handle panel (the lighter colored side) seems to be made of some kind of stone. The other looks like plastic. I wonder if previous repair project?
