I know nothing about the knife you posted, but I just did a search here on AAPK's search for Providence Cutlery and there are some interesting posts. You'll find the name Paolantonio with this company as well as the Colonial Knife Company. An AAPK member, Bonfire Bob was a descendent of this family. He passed away last year. He probably could have given you all the details on your camp knife.

A Providence RI based company, somewhat linked to Colonial through blood lines, making the same type of inexpensive knives (shell handled knives) that sold on cards in gas stations, hardware stores, bait stores, fishing piers, etc. Usually decent steel. I have a pen knife by Providence that I inherited from my great-grandma years ago. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

Thanks. I generally collect case and will buy schrade. That knife there is not something I usually would buy.
