Hi.
I’m a pocket knife newbie, and took a chance & bought my first Case knife at a local yard sale. I got it for $10.00.
Based on the FAQs on the W.R. Case site, I believe it’s a stockman from the mid-1990s. Am I on the right track? It looks like a quality knife -- but I’m just hoping it is not a good counterfeit.
Also, I noticed that one of the pins (?) is missing from the back. If this knife is genuine, is that something that would fall under Case’s lifetime warranty? The handle material is not loose, but I would be willing to pay the shipping to get it taken care of.
Thanks.

Hi and welcome to AAPK,
My eyesight is getting worse everyday, even with reading glasses …. what model # is your knife ? And what is the overall length ?

It is a 6318. Length closed is 3.5 inches. Fully opened (both end blades open) is 8 inches.
I also moved this question to the general knife forum.
Thanks!

I'd take the question right to the source, ask Case. That's a newer knife, judging by tang stamp. Welcome to AAPK

Welcome to AAPK
You can contact Case for the repair by phone. Most likely they will say send it in
and they will contact you after inspection. They most likely can repair it. If they charge you,
ask if they can sharpen the blades for that price.
