You know, one of the best knife bargains I ever got was a Sharpfinger.
I got it NIB on closeout at Lowe's for.....$7.96. Oh yeah!!

The Sharpfinger is one of the first knives I ever put handles on. I bought some blanks from LT and finished them. To date I have probably done at least 15 or so.

Here are some pics of ones I have re-handled or finished from blanks.

Nice Arnold.

Where did you find them? I am pretty sure they aren't factory, unless they are lunch box specials.

The top one looks to me as if it was made by someone taking a file to a LB-7. Is the lock bar missing on that one?

The bottom one has much cleaner lines. I imagine it was made on an oscillating drum sander or with sanding drums in a drill press. Much the same process I use on the finger grooved 152s, except I sand the grooves in the blank before attaching the handle.

I don't think either knife was dissembled in the process, from what I can tell by the pictures.

Dale,Both came from Ebay.I bought the top one mostly for the sheath.The lock bar has been cut down.This one is completely different from the second knife and seems more like someones first try.Second knife much more professionally done.From what I can see neither was taken apart.Arnold
