Anyone have any info on a knife company from Germany named, Luckhaus & Gunther? A friend gave it to me to make a new sheath for it since the old one is torn on the belt loup. I hope you can see the tang stamps on the photo, if you enlarge them. I believe he bought it in the 60's, it has some nice old stag handles with a cast aluminum lions head pommel, and is attached with 4 brass pins. It is 10 3/8" long with the top rear part of the blade being a saw cut and has a 6" blade with a 3" false edge ending at the saw cut. The left side of the tang has a 1/4" circle with what looks like a lamb holding a flag and Solingen under it. The right hand side has the Made in Germany and Luckhaus & Gunther stamp. I would like to know a little about the company, I'm sure it was imported back in the 50's or 60's. thanks in advance
