old camillus knife info please

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Completed listings search on ebay found 2 like that but with different jigging pattern that yours.
One sold for $46.00 and the other $36.00

....I have 2 like this, both mine have brown jigged bone handles,i really like this knife, but most of the ones that turn up are pretty well used up!......wish I could find an origina sheath for mine!!!........ ::tu:: ..................

I have a couple of those in the jigged bone. I don't have the Winterbottom bone.
That knife is in pretty decent condition for a 75+ year old knife. ::tu::

Tom Williams said those were some of the first knives the military bought in WWII.
They bought hunting knives until the Mil Spec knives could be produced.
They also bought pocket knives as well for military issue until the Mil Spec folders could be produced.
