Opinel

Post by redferd »

I have a few of these Opinel pocket knives. I like them. I was wondering if anyone else has one or an opinion on them. I think for the price, they are worth it. Here's a picture of one of mine. It's a No. 8 .

No doubt it...............they are good carbon steel knives, a great value for the price.
I have one of their fixed blade paring knives. I used it last night to cut up half a flat of strawberries to make shortcake. :D

I have used this one in the kitchen. I cut fresh bread with it. The blade is 3 1/4" long approximately. I clean it and oil it right away. Works good. It's a little large for me to edc tho.

I have three and love em. My wife uses them in the kitchen a lot. Easy to sharpen. Stains real quick though. Blades get loose quickly. But just run some water over them and they tighten back up.
