I picked up this older Remington knife from E-Bay for $25.00 I believe it is an RC-7. What do you think? Was it worth what I paid? The scales, according to the seller have no cracks or chips.

Yes, it is a RC-7. In mint condition they list for around $125. This one has been used some. Straight line Remingtons don't have quite the value of circle Remingtons. That being said, I think $25 was a pretty decent price. It would be hard to find another for $25 in an antique store, more like $50 or so. Take care of it and it will appreciate in value.

Heres a RC-8 . Same as yours except this one has a clip for a main blade instead of a spear.

Wow....quite a difference in
...perceived value between the spear blade and clip point blade versions, eh?
