626240 beauty!

The first Robeson knives were imported by Millard Robeson from England and Germany exclusively. This continued from 1979 until 1896 when Robeson began manufacturing knives in the United States. Since inception, the company has gone through several reorganizations & eventually ended up as a Queen Cutlery brand.

I think Robeson did the best jigging and had the most beautiful bone knives. plus, they are of great quality and fly under the radar. while everyone clamors for vintage case, you can find some great deals on Robeson.

I was joking. When I was acquiring most of my knives, not very many would I consider bargains.
While it is true that a lot of people, dealers included, have no idea how really old some of the script ShurEdge knives can be, I still find really nice Robe sons priced high.
Some good ones slip under the radar on EBay, you just have to be careful.

yeah its a minefield out there Charlie. I think ive gotten lucky on the first two ive acquired. I paid 45 for the 626240 and 27 for the strawberry jack. you've seen the pics. I think they are pretty legit. I might lean on you from time to time for education! thanks
