Buck 102 1964-68?

This is my latest Buck, and the best part is, it was given to me. I've been trying to figure out when it was made and the best I can come up with is 64-68, am I close? As you can see by the photo it has Buck. stamped on it (with a dot), no usa or model number. the sheath is lighter black leather with no model number on the back and just has the silver "buck" snap on the cover piece. The blade is 4" long. Unfortunately it had been roughly sharpened so I tried to get some of the rougher marks off without screwing up the blade. I'd love to find one in unused condition but that's pretty hard to do out here in corn and cow country. So I just take what I can get.

Looks pretty decent from where I sit. Can't beat the price.

I think 1967 was the only year Buck used the "Buck*" tang stamp on the 100 Series knives.

thanks, Burt and Jerry, sure could be 1967 vintage, that kind of fits in when the previous owner said he thought he bought it.
