Jerry, sorry about less information in my post.jerryd6818 wrote:That's a really broad question with very little information regarding your preferences in a carry knife.
Back at the end of 2010 you bought and carried a Buck 055. Can we assume from that you prefer a single blade knife or have your tastes changed during the past four years?
Before everyone jumps in with their suggestions, I think answers to the following questions would help.
Help us help you.
- Still single blade?
- Modern (tactical) or traditional?
- U.S. made or are imports acceptable?
- Do you have a preference as to blade profile (clip, spear, Wharncliffe, etc)?
- Locking blade or not?
- Any preference as to handle material?

I can't remember when I felt this stupid!! What the hell did they say??jerryd6818 wrote:A knife that contains a spring, detent, or other mechanism designed to create a bias toward closure of the blade and that requires physical exertion applied to the blade by hand, wrist, or arm to overcome the bias toward closure to assist in opening the knife is not a spring blade knife.
(spring blade knife being a switchblade or gravity knife)

Good choice and they come with lifetime free sharpening. Be careful. There's a reason I call them "Kershaw sharp".
Thanks TJ, and I don't have a cc permit....don't really care too either!tjmurphy wrote:Me too, Scott. All I know is, that with my conceal carry permit, I can carry any knife or deadly weapon I want in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
