Case EDC for a friend

Post by orvet »

Here is a Case mini trapper I made as an EDC for a friend.
It is similar to another one I made recently.

It is a surprise. I hope he likes it.

That's got an understated but definately high tech look to it with those handles.

Very nice ! ::tu::

Very nice work. I like that clip blade: it reminds me of the Russlock blades, which I have found very functional.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the complements.

I also like the clip blade on the mini trapper, it is a great design.
I have a mini trapper with a Wharncliffe secondary blade which I like even better than the clip.
If the mini trapper came with a Wharncliffe and pen blade, in carbon steel; it would probably be my favorite EDC.

Nice one Dale, I like it! Must be pretty slim now if you removed the secondary blade...even more pocket friendly.

Thanks Mike, it is nice and slim.
I didn't get a picture of it from the top or bottom, but here is a picture of the one I did in August.
It is pretty much the same knife with the same type handles.
As you can see it is very pocket friendly.

Well, I had a rough day today as my oldest daughter has been pretty ill and we spent the second of 3 days having tests done at the hospital and when I got home there was a package with this knife in it for me, I commented on the last one Dale made and without my knowledge he made this one for me. It was the thought, effort and timing that will make this one of my most special knives.
Dale my friend like I told you I really dig it and appreciate the fact you thought of me and took the time to make me it. Looks like I have a new EDC

For many reasons from our talks to your advice, I am glad to be able to call you a friend ::handshake::

Thanks again
Gino

Gino,
That's the way that guy is! Dale surprised me a month or so back with a special knife and it too is much appreciated. Hope and pray your daughter gets over her illness very soon.
