Lagioule mod
Nothing special. Customer sent me this Lag that had busted covers...
The customer requested ivory micarta. Here's the finished product...
This was interesting to work on. I don't have pics of it, but the spring has fancy filework on it, so I couldn't do my finishing after assembly. Had to be more deliberate during assembly .
I also did this quick mod on a Solingen single blade. Before....

Thanks guys!

Nice work Glenn...
That is a very expensive knife you worked on.
Not one of Fontenille-Pataud's best but probably $250.00 new and with that file work even more.
The synthetic handles should hold up better if you are going to use the knife all the time rather than the original bull horn.
I have a vendetta knife from the same maker.
This is the most expensive knife I own.
I have only used it a couple of times to cut an expensive steak.

I try not to think about that stuff when I'm working on them, LOL! I'd probably get all nerved up.knives-are-quiet wrote:Nice work Glenn...
