Chinese blade steel

Post by junom »

Hi, if you take I think the most popular Chinese stainless, something like 9Cro13Mov, it's 75% carbon, and Cryogenticly treat it, it changes into a super steel, something happens to the carbon it changes , it gets small and has a name like martinsite. It's too bad it costs $10.00 a pound and their is a minium of 20 pounds, someone could make some strong knives, it even improves the back springs. George God bless

That's interesting. Anyone hear of an American maker turning out a product using that super steep?

wazu013...

First two threads I look at here today and you've shown the same halfway amusing graphic. Isn't this a serious subforum here, or just a place for you to slam china made steel?

Bear in mind... The Chinese have created a missile that make all our aircraft carriers almost useless in attacking their country. I think they can, and do, make a decent blade steel.

I did the same with a Victorinox knife years back.
Its the way the knife was used ( or abused ).

My writers were a little stretched this week.

Super steep is used in the weapon of choice for Snipe Hunting?
Now that's full blown amusing ::ds::
