I discovered this forum while researching a Rawson Brothers razor that I recently acquired. My search for info on them led me to this forum topic about Rawson Brothers knives. I hope that someone here can tell me more about their razors.
The new razor really is a Frankenstein creation; it has a Rawson Brothers (Sheffield) blade mounted in Case Temperite scales, and it truly is an ugly duckling. But what I found to be irresistible is the Portuguese engraving on the blade: "FEIO E BOM", which means "UGLY AND GOOD"... how cool is that?!?
It seems that I may not have permission to post images, so here's a link to an image of the razor.

Re: RAWSON BROTHERS
Frankenstein or not, very interesting razor. Is it going to be a collector, user, or both?
Sometimes nothing can be a real cool hand.
