We Need to be able to lock some posts

It seems to me that we need the ability to lock certain posts as we no longer need them. Specifialy the monthly knife drawings. I suggest that they be locked 10 days or 2 weeks after the drawing is over. No more posts for knife drawings on the wrong month. Just a thought.

I think some newbies wander in there by mistake and post there & no one reads them.

Yep. It seems we are getting a lot of misplaced posts in the giveaway section. I locked several of the problem topics. I think the moderators have the ability to do this now.

I could be wrong. Hukk, and or MM can you check to see if you have this option in the forums where you moderate. See attached image.

This will be located at the bottom left of the post you are viewing. Clicking on the lock symbol will lock the topic. I circled it in red so you can see which I'm talking about. It might only be available to administrator If so, I'll see if I can make it available to the moderators also.
