Mixed fonts in a tang stamp?

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Mixed fonts in a tang stamp?

I got this Sword brand knife yesterday...

...and found something odd. The spey blade has what seems like the regular 4 line stamp but it contains a mix of serif and sans-serif fonts.

The first two lines and the last line are serif but the third line is sans-serif. Stamps on the other blades are normal.

I've got a knife with mixed stamps among the blades (3 line on one, 4 line on the other) but never saw a combination of different fonts in a single stamp. Anyone else come across something like this?
