Please share with me your knowledge of canoe pattern pocketknifes. Some history, how the knife shape and pattern came to be, its purpose, and what area it is esteemed. I cannot explain it, yet somehow I came to find this knife special. I purchased a Case Baby Butterbean for my baby brother for his birthday, and today I ordered a handsome Boker Canoe via A. G. Russell. But the background of this piece (among others) still remains a mystery.
