I always liked miniature knives both folding and fixed blade.

It always amazes me to see the attention to detail that went into these. I have some folders with 10 or more blades!

Here is an old pearl handle fixed blade I just picked up today, it even has the original leather sheath, unfortunately the tip of the sheath is missing

In keeping with the miniature theme,here are some pics of miniature pistols I've acquired over the years.One is a blank firing one(the gases are vented thru a hole in the top of the barrel)but the other two fire actual 2mm pinfire rounds.I've never been able to find the proper cartridges for them.They were made in Austria.Supposedly they were originally designed as projects for apprentice gunsmiths but I think they were just small toys even though they will fire an actual round.To load them you cock the hammer and push a small pin on the right side((the bar on the left side is the return spring)and tilt the barrle forward.There is a small notch in the top of the barrle that the firing pin fits into.Load the cartridge in and close the barrel.There is no safety and the trigger is quite sensitive so you have to be careful.

That's a beautiful little dagger which looks very well made. The sheath appears German, any ideas on the knife's origin?

The sheath,blade design and tang all resemble German boot daggers made between WWI & WWII. This is a dead ringer in miniature scale.

This is one of the better quality ones I have seen. It has 10-blades! The handles are MOP, unfortunately they are chipped on both sides

All the blades have excellent snap and the liners are even coined.

Very nice. I can only imagine the frustration and patience the makers must have had in working with these tiny knives, especially the multi blade models.
