Buck 110 2 questions

Hi, I put this in general knife related questions , I thought I'd give it a try here also. I read on another web site that Joe Houser was going to split the version 5 into 2 different versions , the 2 inlay rivets ,and the 2 dot three rivet would become the new version 6, that would bump up all the remaining versions up , the person who wrote this knew the 110 very well and sounded like a expert, but I'm still not positive it's true, I didn't print it and forgot where it was. Second, the 1980 had the third dot added because Buck changed the rocker material, but also I have read in a few places that the third dot was added because of a blade bushing added, but I also read where someone broke down some two dot knives and found two different types of blade bushing material, I've forgotten where I read it, but they sounded like they knew the 110 very well, I am not positive that it's true, it sure sounded like it was.
