need a fixing

I have a schrade paratrooper switch orange handle it was fired and now the button popped up and the blade will not stay open or closed it was my fathers so i really would like to get it fixed any help woukd be great.

Try some wd40 to clean it out.

Forgot to mention muskrat man has some real good videos on utube, Bob (Elvis) has been very good with helping me with issues.

Contact Bill Deshivs. His website used to be billdeshivs.com but I can't get it to work now. He checks in here at AAPK plus he has a forum thread of his own @ http://www.talkblade.info/viewforum.php?f=8

Thanks bill it worked closes and fires great but when open u could peobably close the blade without pushing the button so its not catching very good or is woen inside what do u think bill .very weak lockup blade has some movement

Try flushing the blade tang out with lots of WD 40. If the slot in the blade is dirty, the sear will not seat well.

Button slide back in and fires great now
