My Wife Got Me

Kershaw began its foray into the knife business sometime during 1974. The company was originally based in Portland Oregon, but most early knives were manufactured in Japan. The first US manufacturing plant was opened in 1997 & the company currently offers knives made in the U.S., Japan, & China. Pete Kershaw (an ex Gerber salesman) started the business.

My Wife Got Me

When I got home from work today my wife told me to put on my glasses because she had an article for me to read. While I was reading the article she plopped a Zero Tollerance box on the newspaper. It is a ZT 0301 with tiger striped blade. The thing weighs a 1/2 pound. What a tool!!!

She loves to surprise me. I had no idea this was coming. ::tu:: She's a keeper.

It's going right into my EDC rotation. I have a feeling it's going to dominate anything I throw at it. For sure it's not a pocket knife.

I do!! I'm carrying it around like a dog with a bone. It's my first ZT or Kershaw for that matter. I've never had a folding knife with so much ars. It's 5 1/4" closed with a 3 3/4" fat blade. It came in at 8.1oz on my scale. It dwarfs my Lobo which amazes me. Plus it's really well built. It's like putting down my channel locks and picking up a pipe wrench ::nod::
