Last week I DVRed a relatively new series on NatGeo called Battleground Afghanistan.

It's a 5 episode series about Golf Company's tour while engaging the Taliban who have sought refuge there. Really interesting snapshot into the lives of the Marines and what it's like to be on the front line. Capt. Ben Middendorf does a great job leading his men on their mission, without a casualty over their close to 3 week tour of duty taking out enemy combatants who have overrun the area.
When they were getting ready to depart, I happened to notice a tub of bayonets. After doing a little research I figured out they use Ontario Knife Company OKC 3S M 16 bayonets;

Great made in the USA products and a pretty cool series, hope there are more to come. In my opinion it's important to know and appreciate what people are doing to protect the freedom we enjoy daily. They make the sacrifice for us all and I, for one, am grateful for their service.
