A start to my Kershaw collection

Kershaw began its foray into the knife business sometime during 1974. The company was originally based in Portland Oregon, but most early knives were manufactured in Japan. The first US manufacturing plant was opened in 1997 & the company currently offers knives made in the U.S., Japan, & China. Pete Kershaw (an ex Gerber salesman) started the business.

Doing good Ted. That's a very nice start. Now you'll have to add something with orange handles.

Here are some choices. I'm not too fond of the Skyline because it's not SpeedSafe but I'm very pleased with the rest. That Speed Bump is a hoss and the Leek is always a good choice (plus very available).

Most recent knife is a Kershaw Kurai only weighing 2 ounces.
Very attractive knife that carries well and very sharp!
