Brous Blades, Boker/Manaro and Warren Thomas Knives

Here's several I received in the past week. The first knife is the "Reloader", made by Jason Brous. It is an incredibly well made knife with D2 steel and G-10 scales. It looks beefy, but fits my hand perfectly. The edge on this thing is scary sharp and it is a real flipper with IKBS bearings. The second knife is a collaboration between Sal Manaro and Boker. All titanium and it's a rendition of Sal's Bullseye. The blade steel is 440C and is also scary sharp. It was made in China and was inexpensive at $128.00 through Blade HQ. Lastly, this knife was made Warren Thomas. It is also all titanium and anodized in a stunning blue finish. This knife is like a scapel! I've never seen anything as sharp as this. The blade on this is titanium with a carbide edge.

Jason Brous, has been making some Great Knives! If you can't afford them, I see he has teamed up with SOG to produce some of his models at a more affordable price.

I like the looks of that Boker plus Sniper, what's the opening mechanism on that one? Don't see a thumbstud or nail nick...

I don't think they have one. It probably requires two hands to open. I know a lot of the Sniper Blade Works and Medford Praetorians at Blade required two hands for opening.

junebug hit it on the head, thanks buddy. this is a slick, quick flipper but it needs a little dremel work on the handle opposite the linerlock & that deep blade is about as strong as one needs in a folder. boker has been doing 440c since the 80s & really know how to heattreat the stuff. HiPower

How do you like the titanium in use? I have two, they seem to work pretty well but I have to sharpen fairly often. Nice and light though.

Never used the Warren Thomas knife Trey. The blade steel is titanium, but it has a carbide edge to it. It is one of the sharpest knives I've seen.
