Only Available From China.....Fake?

Hoyt Buck produced the first Buck Knife in 1902. Hoyt and his son Al moved to San Diego and set up shop as H.H. Buck & Son in 1947. Al Buck revolutionized the knife industry in 1964 with the infamous Model 110 Folding Hunter. The company's innovative history and attention to quality have made for many great collectible knives.

Hard to believe that the only way to get a USA built knife is to have it shipped from China - makes my alarm bells go off!
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

I will say what everyone knows,

A bunch of fake Bucks are found in certain areas of the big auction site. Depending on angle you do a search sometimes a bunch of them jump out at you. Be careful even boxes are being copied. Its such a problem that they just can't keep up with the complaints, so its up to us to realize what is going on and not support the pirates.

I see them because the are more the 'tech' style knife but could be any type. Buyer beware.

There that was my public service for the week.

Description says it's a liner lock but it sure looks like a frame lock to me. It's a small issue next to the country of origin but it's lies and lies on top of lies and more lies.

The only reason I can think they bother is there must be a bunch of money in it somewhere. It's always about the money.
