Stag Party?

Post by knife7knut »

Just thought I'd inject a bit of humor into an otherwise drab Sunday night.Pic of my "good" steak knives. They were originally celliloid or some such material that disintegrated many years ago but the blades were like new.I cleaned them up a bit and re-handled them in some antler that I bought at a yard sale for 50 cents apiece(the whole antler!).I used some other pieces for handling letter openers.Bought a bunch of LO blades on e-bay and decided to create some different ones.A couple have stag and a few have screwdriver handles. That's what happens when you have too much time on your hands!

I'll take my steak medium rare please. Any of those knives will do quite nicely. 8)

Actually that is the one I like to use as I am left handed and my thumb rests very comfortably on that tine.I didn't do it intentionally but the handles are good for two right handers and two left handers. They actually work very well even though the angle the handles are at might suggest otherwise.
