Talk about need for a "sunk joint". This one looks painful at best and a definite pocket shredder. jmho

Wonder why when they dial up tooling for a new pattern this isn't consider

Agree. I don't get it though,seems this could be addressed rather easily during tooling/mock up. Granted I have no clue as to the ease or difficulty of making it work.

I'm with you Earl. I like a sunk joint too. But that is far from the worst I've seen.

sunk joints have always been considered to be a mark of a preminum model. in truth the unsunk joint is somewhat stronger but i do'nt use knives as prybars so give me sunk joints everytime.--HiPower

Not to just "pile on", but that mock-up really looks awkward to me …
