Three Sisters Forge "Beast"

Post by Forensic Jim »

Picked up this Three Sisters Forge out of Bend, Oregon knife. It's called the "Beast" and is a real work horse of a knife and very affordable. Rock solid lock-up and zero blade play. Blade is hollow ground and 3" length and perfectly centered. Very smooth opening and closing, light weight and fits my hand perfectly. Knife is hair-popping sharp. I really like the waterjet design in the liners, which really makes the handle grippy. This knife will definitely get a lot of pocket time.

Not sure of what the blade steel is but here are some of the other specs.

OAL: 7.25"
Blade: 3"

Finish: Bead blasted and then stonewashed

Titanium liners

Visited the site. These are clearly finely made knives. Kinda odd no mention is made of the steel. Even the Rockwell is listed but not the steel. Curious.

Thanks. Figures it would be a premiums steel. Elmax is a powder steel advertised as tougher and holding an edge longer than many other premium steels. It would be very interesting if after using it for a while you could give us an evaluation of the knife's performance. ::tu::
