Who can I get to do a rehandle and some file work for me?

I've got a Case Classic 71098 toothpick with waterfall scales and they're starting to shrink on me. Since the collectors value is going away I'd like to have someone do a nice set of scales for it and some file work on it. Any help in the right direction would be appreciated, Kelly.

Hello Mechanicsn;

Looks like I am first to welcome you to AAPK.
I do not do knife work but had some knives made in to ONE of a KIND.
Do you know what kind of handles you want on your knife?
This would help to know when some one comes in here to help you.

Welcome to AAPK.

I agree with Ken; you can't go wrong with Muskrat Man (Kaleb) or agteacher2 (Jeff). Both do great work.

I have been known to do some custom work also, but I am a bit backed up at this time. They could probably help you faster than I could, and I know they do outstanding work.

Hi Kelly, I'd be happy to do some work on your knife. Just shoot me an email with what you'd like done (handles material, pins or no pins, file work pattern ect) and I'll see what I can do for you.

I looked at the work done my agteacher and muskrat man, and I can't wait to have my first custom done. I flipped a coin and this one goes to agteacher. I have two small sons so I'll need two knives to pass down, so as soon as I find another big toothpick it'll make a trip to muskrat. I'll post pics of the knife when it comes back from agteacher. Mechanicsn I am very happy for you.
One thing you might want to do is make a photo of the knife BEFOR.
Then you would have some history to go with the knife.
Old photo then new photo.
