Dating NYK jack Ihave a NYK barehead jack with both blades stamped new york knife co walden.I have seen knives stamped this way on ebay described as pre 1878?, when the arm and hammer logo was first used.This knife has not been apart (imo).Could I have a 130 year old knife

If you post this question over in the Knife Lore forum, Richard Langston (LT632ret) is THE expert on knives of the Hudson River Valley. He has lived in that area most of his life and had a collection that will knock the socks off the most erudite collector.

He will be able to tell you about your knife if anyone can, but it he would need to see a picture. And so would the rest of us. I really like the old New York Knife pieces. They don't make them like that any more.
